2 members recently passed away, although neither had been able to play much golf in recent years.
Fred Eby was an Honorary Life member who contributed very much to the Carman Golf Club over the years. Although he hadn't golfed for quite a while, he still came by for lunch quite often and graced us with his presence.
Earle Garnett also hadn't golfed much recently, but he also came by the club every Sunday morning for breakfast. Earle put quite a bit of work into the club when we expanded from 9 to 18 holes and it was appreciated. Both gentlemen will be missed.
