Last night at the club we held the drawing for the Carman Members Dinner Club. All Carman members were eligible to participate in the program. For every 10 dinners purchased through the season, not including league nights, your name was entered to win your 2008 membership fees.
This years winner is Phil Patterson. He wins his 2008 membership fees. We would like to thank all the members who came out and supported the clubhouse all season.

Rental Clubs for sale

We have 3 sets of Callaway rental sets left in the Pro Shop that are for sale. They have been used a few times over the summer as rentals, but are all in really great shape. Each set has 14 clubs in it and includes the bag. I am selling the sets for $1500 each. There are 2 right handed sets and one left handed set. This price is well below the wholesale price for each set.
Please let us know soon if you are interested in purchasing one of the sets.
End of Season information.

Carman Scramble
We held the Carman Scramble this past Saturday and it was another succesful year. This tournament started around 1987 or 1988 as the Powerbilt Scramble and has evolved into the Carman Scramble as Powerbilt doesn't sell much golf equipment anymore. It has always been the premier scramble tournament as many of the best golfers in the province come out to play. This year was no different as players such as Dean North, Garth Collings, Brad Kirton, and Rob Guthrie came out to play. In past years we have had such players as Todd Fanning, Glen Hnatiuk, Rob McMillan and Henry Brunton come out and play.
This years winners was Team North consisting of Dean North, Bill North sr, Bill North jr, and Bruce North. They shot a fine score of 15 under 55.
